Good idea? I think so. Healthy trees grow more, are better to look at, and provide less risk in severe storms. It also means being in direct communication with the land owners of the trees.

I feel like america failed copenhagen and we really need to start paying attention to all aspects of our environment. I went and chopped on my neighbor trees today. They lent me the branch saw, loppers, and clippers that I needed! it was really exciting. They have some ornamental prunes that had not been pruned in years! (my first pun!)

A little about me:
I am an economics major at Oregon State University. I have a passion for the environment and for people. I feel we need to work on things we have and acknowledge our own limitations. One of those things is trees. We need to look closer at all aspects of our lives and one of those is the trees we walk past every day. We, collectively, as americans have lost the art of caring for ours trees. This is common sense that all people once has because we were all part of nature. It goes back to a garden ethic.

For 2 hours of work the trees that I touched today are going to look prettier for years. The neighbors will have that. I'll have that while I live her. In economics I have just increased all of our natural capital.
